Tender description

Provision of a Passenger ferry service between Gourock and Kilcreggan from July 2018. Provision of a Passenger ferry service between Gourock and Kilcreggan. The Contract shall be for an initial term of 12 months. Subject to satisfactory performance of the contract in the initial term and future decisions on the delivery of ferry services operating from Gourock, the Contract MAY be extended by SPT for a further period or periods, together totalling no longer than 7 years. All terms and conditions of the Contract shall remain in full force and effect for the initial contract period and also during any extended term. Contract award criteria is: MEAT [i.e. Most economically advantageous tender] based on price = 75 % and quality = 25 %. As part of overall Contract management, SPT will put in place a number of quality assurance measures, including marine surveyor inspections of vessel and crew, supplemented with monitoring by SPT staff.
