Tender description

The GMC requires clinical assessment venues to support the work of the Assessment Development Team (ADT) pilot events. We run approximately 15-20 pilot events each year to support development of the Fitness to Practice (FTP) tests of competence assessments. Volunteer doctors from across the UK attend the pilots to test and validate new assessment material. These assessments include Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) and a written knowledge test. We require a spread of venues across mainland UK to maximise attendance from volunteer doctors in different grades and specialties. The equipment and resources required for each scenario can differ based on the specialty. Lot 2 - 2 venues in Southern England. We require a spread of venues across mainland UK to maximise attendance from volunteer doctors in different grades and specialties. The equipment and resources required for each scenario can differ based on the specialty. Lot 3 - 1 venue in Wales. We require a spread of venues across mainland UK to maximise attendance from volunteer doctors in different grades and specialties. The equipment and resources required for each scenario can differ based on the specialty. Lot 4 - 1 venue in Scotland. We require a spread of venues across mainland UK to maximise attendance from volunteer doctors in different grades and specialties.
