Tender description

The City of Edinburgh Council (the Council) intend to put in place a contract for the provision of Energy Support Services and Partnership for the Council’s Housing Service. This purpose of this PIN is to assess the number of suitable suppliers who would be interested in tendering for such an opportunity. The Council’s Housing Service requires expert support and advice to navigate the rapidly changing policy area of energy and its impact on housing. To this end the Council is seeking to put a contract in place with a single supplier in order to form a short-term partnership to provide ongoing support. The partnership will provide a range of support services, including (but not limited to): — Advice on Council strategy development, — Support for the introduction of new government policy, — Informing the Housing Service of developing technologies, — Expert and technical support on a range of issues. It is envisaged that the contract period will be 18 months with 2 optional 6-month extensions (undertaken at the Council’s sole discretion).
