Tender description

Provision of Driver Training Instructors in support of BFC. The requirement is for Cat B, B+E, C,C+E and D1 licences. The requirement is to provide full Category B, B+E, C, C+E & D1 driver training to personnel within BFC, with instructors who are trained to the appropriate UK Driver Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) standards for each licence category. Driver Training vehicles that meet the minimum test vehicle requirements will be provided by the authority including fuel costs. It is the Authority’s intension to place one contract for all requirements however, it is recognised due to driving category requirements and value for money that Expressions of interest (EOI’s) may be submitted for individual Lots as follows: Lot 1 — Provision of Driver Licence Training for Category B, B+E. Lot 2 — Provision of Driver Licence Training for Category C, C+E D1. EOI’s must clearly state which Lot a company is expressing an interest in. This Contract notice is not to be construed as confirmation that a contract will subsequently be issued; announcements are for information only. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award will be at the Supplier’s own risk.
