You are invited to meet with representatives from Brighton & Hove City Council and the Clinical Commissioning Group to discuss the commissioning of a new Ageing Well Service for Brighton & Hove. We are looking to commission a lead provider, working under a single contract with a partnership of providers, to deliver an integrated citywide service of health promotion and primary prevention to people aged 50+. The Ageing Well Service will deliver a range of group and one to one wellbeing activities in order to reduce social isolation and loneliness, promote good health and wellbeing, prevent ill health, and enable people to remain independent for as long as possible. there will be presentations on the context, rationale for the new service, further details on the service specification, and an opportunity for discussions and questions. The tender documents for this commission will be released in September 2018 subject to Health & Wellbeing Board approval in June. Further clarification of key dates will be given at this event.
