Tender description
Provision of leakage detection and network sensor equipment to monitor and detect leaks in our water networks. The scope of the tender is to provide Anglian Water with leakage detection equipment required to locate leaks in our networks. Continuous monitoring of our networks will provide the ability to react promptly and efficiently to the information provided. Lot 1 – Noise loggers – devises to be deployed at points around the water network to monitor noise levels on the pips to indicate leaks. It is anticipated that all suppliers will be able to provide a level of ancillary equipment relevant to the lot they are bidding for which is compatible with a wide range of products and makes. We are looking for innovative and collaborative suppliers who can ensure that any research and development across leakage detection equipment is encouraged and can be adapted to keep Anglian Water leading in its leakage management and resolve. This will include collaboration of technologies with both Anglian Water and other suppliers to develop leading detection products. This will help future proof the framework so products supplied will be selected on a best for task basis at any time throughout the duration of the framework. Price and product reviews are to be held on a regular basis throughout the term of the framework to ensure competitive products and prices are upheld. There will be a need for existing products in the early stages and we envisage this requirement will be upheld through existing supply, although the requirement to easily mothball and exchange products for modernized upgraded units may be necessary. We have identified a range of products which are currently in use and detailed these in the specification document. Pricing will be requested in the RFP for these products based on theses specifications. This list and prices will be reviewed on a regular basis throughout the duration of the agreement to ensure we have the range of products required to cover our needs. Data collected from the equipment will need to be stored and made accessible to Anglian Water. We expect a detailed explanation of how this will be stored and what access Anglian Water will have to be outlined in your responses to the relevant questions.
