Tender description

The Supplier shall provide LUL Nominee BCV Limited with the supply of 2 types of body end panel assemblies, forming one end of a car and associated components for the Central line improvement programme (CLIP). There are 2 designs of body ends required to modify the remaining 601 ends, these are the Bar coupler ends (also known as Middle or Trailer ends, the requirement is for 411 units plus 4 spare units to be delivered at the start of the project). Autocoupler Ends (also known as the Shunting or UNDM Ends, the requirement is for 190 units plus 4 spare units to be delivered at the start of the project). — Supply panels for up to 601 body end assemblies made up of 2 side panels and one roof dome and associated components for the Central line to the volumes and requirements provided in the Bill of materials (BoM). If changes to the BoM are required, the unit prices will apply. The body end panels and associated fittings shall be fabricated strictly in accordance with the drawings (see section 3.2) and the scope (this document). The drawings are included in the Scope information of this document. — Provide delivery of materials to site at Acton works, as required. Body drilling jigs as per the drawings and any specialist tooling requirement. — Provide HSQE documentation and testing as required as part of the QUENSH. — Attendance at periodic meetings (once every 4 weeks) to report on progress, assurance and KPIs, if required.
