RFQ for the Supply & Delivery of a Fastback 20 Binder or Equivalent

Halton Borough Council are looking for an experienced supplier to supply and deliver a Powis Fastback 20 Binder or Equivalent with optional maintenance for use within the Councils Print Unit. The Council requires the Powis Fastback 20 Binder or Equivalent to meet the requirements below but not limited to those: - • Fastback Model 20 (or Equivalent) binding machine is fast, full-featured machine capable of binding in large quantities • One Touch Function - with the press of a button, the machine binds a book up to 350 sheets within 13-20 second • Document Binding - Thermal Adhesive Binding to create strong bound books. • Perfectback Binding - for multiple short runs with no set up • Image Strip - thermal binding strip which has images printed on them, which can consist of photographs, vector art and/or various colour specifications. The Powis Fastback 20 Binder (or equivalent) should meet the specifications outlined below but not limited to those: - • Dimensions - 23.5"Wx9"Hx23"D (60cm x 23cm x 58cm) • Weight - 57lbs (26kg) • Spine Lengths - Max. 12" (30.5cm - A4), Min. 5.5" (2.54cm) • Binding Capacity - 10 sheets to 350; 1" Max. thickness (2.54cm) • Optimal Paper Weight - 20lb standard (75gsm) to 32lb (120gsm) • Edit Capacity - Yes (< 2 edit cycles) • Warm up Time - < 3 minutes • Binding Time - 13 - 20 seconds
