Tender description

Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust will be reviewing the market prior to competition for suppliers of an integrated network system for archiving video footage and integrating existing patient demographic systems. The system will need to link the Olympus video capture stack system for example CV-170 HD Outpatient Camera Systems and ENF-VH HD Video Scope Package to the hospital network and patient demographics. There are 10 systems in total so would need to be able to work for multiple units, and there would need to be a mechanism to be able to view images or videos on any PC. There may be a requirement for 2 different systems as there is also a need to be compatible with Laryngograph equipment for use in the Voice Service in ENT. The system would need to link with the current NUH software that records patient demographics so that this information would not need to be manually inputted. The following is a list of requirements we would like the suppliers to take into consideration: — archiving and retrieval of video footage, — storage and management of the system, — ability to produce a patient schedule, — ability to compare footage / images from different times e.g. for the same patient over a period of months / years, — basic audit tool. — project management / liaison with service and ability to work with NUH ICT services on installation and engineering work, — the ability to export images / footage for MDTs or to send to other Trusts, — ongoing training for Departmental staff, — option to produce patient report (desirable), — to include a remote foot switch (desirable). The PIN is to allow suppliers to register their interest in supplying this system as soon as possible.
