Home Oxygen Assessment and Review Service for NHS Trafford CCG

NHS Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group are seeking bids for the provision of Home Oxygen Assessment and Review Service ("the Service"). The philosophy underpinning this Service is that patients are able to: • access a high quality clinical service which focuses on 'what can we do for this patient' rather than 'this patient doesn't fit into our criteria'; • be effectively managed throughout their experience in a seamless and integrated manner across Trafford and the wider health economy; • benefit from excellent communication between the Service provider and all other NHS Trafford CCG commissioned services regardless of location e.g. primary, acute, community, social etc and experience integrated care pathways; • benefit from a proactive, innovative approach to service delivery, uptake and achievement of the quality targets set by NHS Trafford CCG. The contract will run from 1st November 2018 to 31st October 2020 with an option to extend for 1 year. There is a budget of £576,000 (including CQUIN) for the full potential 3 year contract period. The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the "Regulations"). As such, the procurement of the Service is being run as a bespoke, single-stage application process akin to the Open Procedure. NHS Trafford CCG does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to Schedule 3 services.
