Tender description

East Renfrewshire Council is inviting tenders, from suitably qualified providers for Provision of Independent Advocacy Services. It is envisaged that the main focus of the service will be to support individuals with independent professional advocacy. This role is to inform, empower and represent the interests of the individual to improve access to health and social care services and to improve health and social care outcomes. To provide an independent professional advocacy service for children and young people who are or have been looked after including referrals relating to those looked after children and young people who are involved in the Child Protection process. To provide an independent professional advocacy service for children and young people with any additional support needs (prioritising those who are affected by formal child protection procedures). To provide a professional independent advocacy service for individuals throughout East Renfrewshire. The services are to be provided across different care groups including adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and services to Older People with a particular focus on Adult Support and Protection.
