Tender description

Family Life Skills is a Families First funded service which will support vulnerable families to manage their own wellbeing. The service will deliver support directly and coordinate wider networks of support. The service will assess needs, plan support and achieve outcomes jointly with families in a co-productive way. The service will promote parenting and family resilience. This tender forms part of the recommissioning of the Denbighshire Families First programme from 2018-19 onwards. Family Life Skills is a Families First funded service which will support vulnerable families to manage their own wellbeing. The service will deliver support directly and coordinate wider networks of support. The service will assess needs, plan support and achieve outcomes jointly with families in a co-productive way. The service will promote parenting and family resilience. This is an early intervention service which aims to prevent families’ needs from escalating and to prevent crises occurring. The service will support families to achieve outcomes in the following areas: 1) Families feel more positive, confident and well. 2) Families look after their children’s health. 3) Families have good relationships. 4) Families control risky or damaging behaviour. 5) People have the skills to be good parents. 6) Families cope better with their own challenges. 7) Families live in good homes. 8) Families deal better with money matters. 9) Families learn and study together. 10) Families work well with schools and colleges.
