GB-Telford: Landscape Character Appraisal

Tender description

Telford & Wrekin wishes to appoint specialist contractors to undertake a Landscape character appraisal of strategic sites of the Borough to help inform the preparation of the Council's Telford &Wrekin Local Plan, which can ultimately withstand scrutiny at examination. The study is required to identify and assess the Borough's strategic landscapes. The aim of the study is to identify the nature and extent of the three major strategic landscape areas, their quality and character, to have an understanding of the capacity of those landscapes to change and to establish and identify the parameters regarding what development is suitable and appropriate which would help assist in maintaining the integrity of those areas
