GB-Lichfield: Provision of Pharmacy Technician Training

NOTE: This notice was updated on 25 April 2018 for the following reason: Other Information Section has been updated on 25 April 2018 to include a response to a clarification query regarding Cyber Security.The Authority requires provision of 2 pharmacy technician student placements per year. These placements shall last for a two year period and shall lead to the award of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) recognised qualification of Level 3 Diploma (National Vocational Qualification) in Pharmacy Services Skills (Competence). This shall result in the student's registration with the GPhC. This training shall incorporate a GPhC recognised course of underpinning knowledge such as the BTEC National Diploma Pharmaceutical Science (Knowledge) or Level 3 Diploma Pharmaceutical Science (Knowledge) and shall be undertaken through day or block release at college.
