Tender description

This contract notice relates to the provision of the Trailblazer utilities engineering technician apprenticeship programme, to be run in conjunction with Southern water service limited, for a minimum of 2 cohorts each consisting of 10 Apprentices. This programme will be run in the south-east of England. The scope of services includes: 1. A residential programme for the first year of the Apprenticeship including pastoral care, 3 meals per day, access control and fully secured lodgings manned 7-days a week, 365-days per year 2. Travel to and from accommodation and place of training 3. Certified qualification delivery (NVQ, BTec etc.) 4. Specialised training This contract will run for an initial period of 6 years with an option to extend by a further 4 years. Services will be provided in the Southern Water geography of south-east England. The procurement will be for a preferred supplier to deliver the following: — all training requirements set out including all eligibility checking, enrolling, registering, funding acquisition, assessing, verification and reporting, — all requirements under the residential scope to include access controlled, fully secure and constantly manned accommodation, 3 meals per day for each Apprentice and pastoral care, — all travel necessary for the Apprentices to get to and from their place of lodging and places of training, to comply with all required UK legislation for the vehicle and the driver, — all obligations in terms of management of the Apprenticeship, including reporting, meetings and overall governance.
