Choose How You Move Led Walks

Tender description

The Council requires a programme of led walks to encourage and support local people to increase their levels of walking, to raise awareness of walking as a way to get around and to inform residents of local traffic-free routes. The routes should be selected by the provider to meet the Council’s objectives and led by trained walk leaders. The Council requires a range of social, easy walks (City walks) to encourage participation by less active residents and more challenging Nordic walks for those looking to build fitness. Walks are required for around 36 weeks of the year with a seasonal break from November to end February. The Council requires regular updates on levels of participation, user feedback and the ability to communicate with participants. Keywords: Led walks, Walks, Guided walks
