Tender description
The University has a requirement for merchant services at Durham University. Supplier must offer and support Point to Point Encryption (P2PE) terminals. The university will not consider submissions from suppliers who do not offer and support P2PE terminals. The contract will run for a period of 4 years with an option of a 2 years extension on a year by year basis. The contract will be for sole use of Durham University. In addition to ensuring the university remains compliant, improved value for money is also a key driver behind this tender opportunity along with the desire for high quality management information. Tender responses should include interchange plus plus pricing for card transactions and all other aspects of the service to be provided directly or any associated 3rd parties including terminal costs, regular fees, DCC rebate and non-secure activity etc. As part of the evaluation process, you may be expected to attend a clarification meeting at the University scheduled for 18.7.2018. Suppliers are asked to ensure that they can attend such a meeting on this day. Further details will follow in due course of process. The contract will run for a period of 4 years with an option of a 2 years extension on a year by year basis. The contract will be for sole use of Durham University.
