Tender description
The London Borough of Havering is inviting expressions of interest from organisations that are able to provide targeted careers information, advice and guidance services for young people aged 13-19 (up to 25 years of age for young people with special educational needs and disabilities). The London Borough of Havering is also inviting expressions of interest from organisations that are able to provide a client caseload information system that supports the tracking of young people’s destinations and provides reports to the Department for Education and Havering Council. Client Caseload Information System. The London Borough of Havering will be seeking suitably experienced organisations to bid for these services. This experience is likely to be set as a minimum of 2 years’ experience of delivering similar services for young people. The procurement will be an open procedure and is likely to commence in January 2019 with the contract beginning on 1.9.2019 for a 5 year period. This procurement will be divided into 2 lots. The first lot will enable the Council to award a contract for a targeted careers information, advice and guidance services for young people. This service will need to work closely with schools, colleges and training providers to deliver targeted support to encourage, enable and assist vulnerable individuals and groups (e.g. young offenders, looked after children) to participate in education, employment or training. The second lot will enable the Council to award a contract for the provision of a client caseload information system. The system will need to support the tracking of young people’s destinations and provide reports to the Department for Education about young people’s characteristics, participation and achievements and present regular reports to the Council regarding its progress towards and the achievement of the Not in Education, Employment or Training (“NEET”) targets.
