Tender description

Network Rail intends to tender for the rights to deploy a Mobile coverage solution (Distributed antenna system) to be deployed to all managed by Network Rail stations (Currently 18 sites in total). Network Rail intends to tender for the rights to deploy a Mobile coverage solution (Distributed Antenna System) to be deployed at all Network Rail managed stations (Currently 18 sites in total, list as per below). It’s been established that below fundamental elements are included in the project scope: a. Design, build, implementation and take ownership of the solution. b. Solution should provide coverage, in line with industry standards, throughout the station environment accessible to the travelling public. c. Solution’s infrastructure should be suitable for the deployment of the current 4G frequencies and future 5G frequencies, support of multiple technology, band or MIMO deployments, though should not interfere with Operational telecoms equipment. d. Solutions should promote all MNO presence at Managed stations. e. Provide adequate resources for maintenance and management of the solution including remote administration. f. It has been considered that proposals should be Strategically commercial and will need to be agreed with Network Rail and associated partners. g. Contract award will lead to a concession agreement h. This is a 3rd Party funded project. i.
