Sefton Council’s Tourism Department is responsible for arranging events for the Southport area. There is a requirement for the Food and Drink Festival, Air Show and British Musical Fireworks Championship for onsite cleansing. Specification The Southport Food & Drink Festival 1st – 3rd June 2018 (Victoria Park) 50 Bins – delivered, sited and emptied each day Litter Pickers for 3 days of event Stocking and Cleansing of onsite toilets 2 Skips – emptied twice Full site cleanse on Monday 4th June Expected Attendance – 30,000 people over 3 days The Southport Air Show 6th – 8th July 2018 (Southport Seafront) 40 – 240 Litre Bins – delivered, sited and emptied each day 40 – 110 Litre Bins – delivered, sited and emptied each day Litter Pickers for 3 days of event 2 Skips – emptied twice Full site cleanse on Monday 9th July Expected Attendance – 40,000 people Saturday/ Sunday, 8,000 Friday The British Musical Fireworks Championship 28th – 30th September (Victoria Park) 50 Bins – delivered, sited and emptied each day Litter Pickers for 3 days of event Stocking and Cleansing of onsite toilets 2 Skips – emptied 3 times Full site cleanse on Monday 1st October Expected Attendance – 30,000 people over 3 days Information on Toilets in Victoria Park (for Food & Drink and BMFC) Men 10 x WC’s 1 Large Urinal 1 Disabled WC Ladies 25 x WC’s 1 Disabled WC Baby Changing Area Opening Hours Food & Drink Festival – 10am to 6pm Air Show Friday – 7pm to 10pm, Saturday/Sunday – 10am to 5pm BMFC Friday/Sunday 6pm to 9pm, Saturday 6pm to 9.30pm Litter Pickers – Will be needed for the entire event opening times and until sites are clean.
