Independent advocacy for adults primarily to meet the requirement for service provision under the: — Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000. — Mental health (Care and treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003. — Adult support and protection (Scotland) Act 2007. — And potentially the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016. Independent advocacy service for adults primarily in order to meet the requirement for service provision under the: — Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000. — Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003. — Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007. — And possibly the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016. In exceptional circumstances health or social care staff may make a referral to the service where the adult is not subject to any of the above legislation.
