Tender description

Jisc Services Ltd is seeking to establish a multi-supplier framework agreement for the provision of subscription-based online law and legal resources. The provision will be offered to the Jisc community via Jisc Collections. Jisc Collections is working with the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL) to represent its interests and to offer the resources to higher education institutions represented by BIALL. Jisc Collections is also working with the Business Librarians Association (BLA) to represent the interests of its members. There may be some crossover of the institutions represented, but Jisc Collections wishes to open the offer to as many qualifying libraries as possible. This framework seeks to attract a number of publishers that offer relevant and accurate content which can be used by students, staff and research graduates. The framework is intended to run as a direct award whereby Institutions can access the relevant publishers. Jisc Services Ltd intends to release a contract notice and commence a procurement process following the OPEN procurement procedure in accordance with Directive 2014/24/EU and The Public Contracts Regulations 2015. More detailed information relating to the service required will be provided at that time. Interested providers are invited to contact the procurement panel via procurement@jisc.ac.uk and express their interest in receiving further communications about the status of this procurement process. Please note the tender documents will only be made available via our e-procurement site http://tenders.jisc.ac.uk Interested parties will need to be registered with this portal to access the information and respond to the opportunity. Please feel free to contact procurement@jisc.ac.uk expressing your interest and we can notify you once the opportunity has been published. Please Note that if your company is not already registered as a user of the portal it is necessary first to register as a user of the portal. Once this registration is accepted by Jisc, a username and password will be issued, and should be used for all future accesses to the portal. Note also that Jisc will reject a bidder’s registration if there is already a registration on the portal for that bidder. Please remember also that this initial registration is not a registration for this opportunity, it is only the registration of the supplier on the portal. When registering, it is recommended that a generic mailbox (such as sales@supplier) is set up, so that information from the system can be sent to more than one representative at the company. A host of detailed Supplier User Guides on how to use the Pro-Contract e-tendering portal have been attached to this opportunity and can be accessed via the opportunity on the portal. To do this please navigate to ‘My Opportunities’, select Jisc from the drop down list, select the ‘Contract ID’ followed by the title of the relevant opportunity and then select View ITT. A Zip folder titled Supplier Guides is then available within the attachments section. Once you have expressed interest/ intent, please proceed past/through this stage to locate the ITT and the SoR document (attachment to the ITT).
