Provision of Green Waste Collection, Transportation and Recycling services

Tender description

South Gloucestershire Council produces quantities of green waste as a by-product of its local community services. The Council is seeking a contractor that can collect and transport this waste to the contractor's designated recycling facilities. Over the last three years, an average of 265 tones of green waste has been produced each year. (N.B. The Council can make no guarantees as to the amount of waste produced each year in the future). The service will be provided by the contractor at the Council's current main operating centre (Broad Lane Depot, Engine Common, Yate. BS37 7PN). The client will also have access to the contractor's facility to deliver green waste direct where it meets the client's operational needs.
