Tender description
The authority is seeking to establish a framework agreement to cover the period academic years of 2018 /2019 and 2019 /2020 to provide funded early learning and childcare places in North Lanarkshire. Service providers appointed to the framework will be required to offer placements of up to 600 hours per child. **Please note this is not a new requirement it is the contract award notice for previously advertised requirements.**. This framework is for external providers to offer funded early learning and childcare placements of up to 600 hours per child. The framework will cover the academic years of 2018 /2019 and 2019 /2020. — Children who will be 3 years of age between 1 March and the start of the new school session in August may start nursery at the start of the new school term in August, — children who will be 3 years of age between the start of the new school session in August and the last date in February of the following year may start nursery the day after their third birthday, — children whose birthdays fall in January or February and whose parents or guardians want to defer their child’s entry to school. Providers will require to maintain a minimum of Level 3 grading with the care inspectorate.
