Tender description

Nuclear, biological, chemical and radiological protection equipment. Manufacture, supply and in-service support, including post design service enhancements of 524 Aircrew helmet and Respirator systems. The Chemical biological radiological and nuclear delivery team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence (“MOD”), intends to award Crew systems corporation (the “Contractor”) a contract for the manufacture, supply and in-service support, including post design service enhancements of 524 Aircrew Helmet and Respirator systems. The requirement is seeking a fully mature Technology readiness Level 8 system completed and qualified through test and demonstration including platform integration and flight trials. This shall include technical input for development of the System safety case and the evidence required to achieve Release to service on specified aircraft types. The contract duration will be for a maximum duration of seven years (inclusive of option periods).
