Tender description
Kettering General Hospital has a requirement to upgrade its DS2. Kettering General Hospital has a requirement to upgrade its DS2. Currently a total of 5 different assays are performed and we plan to automate further assays. As a UKAS (UK accreditation service) accredited laboratory to ISO 15189, we must verify the performance of all assays before they are adopted for routine use and communicate changes to UKAS. The Gemini meets the trusts demand for a high level of automation and smart time-management allows processing up to 3 microplates simultaneously. The trust has reviewed the market and only this particular instrument meets the current service requirements of the trust. The trust intends to award business for the supply of equipment, reagents, consumables and maintenance to launch diagnostics.
