May the Fourth Catering Concession

Tender description

The Council are seeking to appoint an operator to provide a small catering unit for an event in the Guildhall Square taking place on the evening of 4th May 2018. The Council are seeking to award a single concession contract for the event. The contract will take the form of a service concession which will require payment to the Council from the successful operator. On Friday the 4th May 2018 the Big Screen in Guildhall Square Portsmouth will be showing a special screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The event will start at 18:30 with the film commencing at 19:00. There will be first-come, first-serve seating freely available to enjoy the screening. This is the second May The Fourth event that has been hosted in the city building on the success of last year's Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie screening which saw more than 300 people attend. This is a free event presented by The Big Screen Portsmouth, which is a partnership between Portsmouth City Council and the University of Portsmouth. There is a maximum capacity of 1,000 guests for this event.
