This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to notify the market that the Kent and Medway Sustainability and Transformation Partnership plans to host a market engagement event to further develop its understanding of the market for a digital patient care records system and associated services. Please register your interest for Kent Care Record System — DN335481 on the www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk for further information on this Market Engagement event. The Kent Care Record (KCR) project is a crucial system transformation enabler to create a joined up health system in Kent and Medway. The KCR will bring together a set of pre-determined information fields from different health and social care records across the system to enable professionals to make informed decisions about care and treatment. The systems will be a repository of patient care information relating to health and care interventions. The systems will be fed with a specific set of data fields in near real time from multiple point of care systems. KCR is not a replacement system — it is a transformation project to bring key data together from current systems to provide an up to date record of patient care and treatment arrangements. The KCR project forms part of the Kent and Medway Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP).
