Telford & Wrekin Council wish to invite Providers to attend a series of engagement events to inform potential Providers of the Council’s and CCG commissioning intentions to provide the following: — Information, Advice and Advocacy Services, — All Age Carers Support Services. Events shall provide opportunities to: — Understand and clarify future service expectations. — Influence and shape service requirements including outcomes. — Develop and shape service requirements. — Understand the forthcoming procurement process. — Meet and network with potential consortium Providers. The Council intends to hold events on the following dates: 16th May at 10:00 to 12:00 at University Centre Telford, Level 3 Southwater One (SW1), Telford, TF3 4JG 13th June at 10:00 to 12:00 at University Centre Telford, Level 3 Southwater One (SW1), Telford, TF3 4JG — this event is reserved for Advocacy providers 27th June at 10:00 to 12:00 The Wakes, Limes Walk, Oakengates, TF2 6EP We are working to: — Bring services together so that people get what they need at the right place and right time. — Involve local people and staff more in planning and running service. — Support our communities better and encourage people to do more to help their own communities. The aspirations of the events is to share our initial scoping vision, hear providers views and assess the level of interest in providing these services. The events will inform the shaping of the service specification. The proposed service must be closely integrated with local services and support networks for children, young people and adults across the Borough working in co-production with existing local business and communities partnerships. Information, advice and support is fundamental to enabling people, carers and families to take control of, and make well-informed choices about their care and support and how they fund it.
