Tender description
Sheffield City Council would like to invite both Service Providers and Social Investors/Intermediaries to attend an event to discuss a new service, intended to be commissioned through social investment, to support adults aged 18 – 64 with mental health conditions currently living in 24/7 residential and nursing care in Sheffield and those who subsequently enter these facilities. Sheffield’s ambition is to ensure that everyone in the city has the opportunity to live as independently as possible; to access education, volunteering and employment opportunities, and to have a good quality of life. It is envisaged that the new service will be a key driver in delivering these outcomes for the specified cohort. The event will offer an opportunity to hear about the Council's vision for the service, the current stage of development, and the planned process and key proposed details ahead of a planned procurement to be undertaken later in the year. A feedback session will provide the opportunity for participants to input into how the social investment could be most helpfully structured to achieve the intended outcomes. It will also offer an opportunity for Service Providers to meet social Investors. The event will be held 1:00 — 4:00 pm on Friday 11th May at Howden House, Union St, Sheffield. S1 2SH. If you would like to attend please send the names of those who will be attending through to DPHOffice@sheffield.gov.uk to book a place and receive further details regarding the venue. Attendance is limited to no more than 2 delegates per organisation. Please express your interest in attending before end of 4th May. Please indicate in your response if you are a service provider or investor/intermediary.
