Tender description

NHS Brent, Harrow and Ealing Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) are considering its future commissioning strategy for the provision of a collaborative community dermatology service. The intermediate community dermatology service will provide high quality, consultant - governed care for registered adults and children who have an acute or chronic dermatological condition that is appropriate for management within an intermediate care setting in line with agreed referral criteria. Should the CCG opt to proceed with a competitive procurement process for the delivery of this service, it is anticipated that a contract will be awarded for 3 years to the appointed provider with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years at their discretion. The expected service commencement date is anticipated to be March 2019. The annual value of the contract is estimated at 1 900 000 GBP per year, the total contract value over 5 years is estimated at 9 500 000 GBP. ***Interested parties are asked to complete and return the questionnaire found at https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/Notice/f4f2be72-e9fb-45a4-9551-a8a6734f9e1b to: tom_baker@nhs.net Referencing “community dermatology” in the title. The deadline for expressions of interest is 12:00 noon on Wednesday 25.4.2018***. The CCG anticipates publishing a contract notice to commence procurement during May 2018. The submission of an expression of interest is not a prerequisite to any subsequent procurement application; however the response to this market engagement advert will help to inform the CCG's commissioning approach, including whether a competitive process will be appropriate.
