Tender description

The objectives of this procurement are: — to provide a regional service in which music therapy will support Children living with a Disability who present with behaviours which can challenge, — the service will be aligned to Family Support / LAC Plans coordinated by the Trusts, — the objective is to provide an additional therapy based intervention to assist in supporting Children living with a Disability / behaviour which challenges using music therapy to support augmentative communication and behaviour strategies, — the service should reflect the key principles of positive behaviour support models in that: o Increases the individual’s quality of life, inclusion and participation: —— defends and supports valued social roles; —— uses principles and procedures from behaviour analysis to assess and support behaviour change and other complementary, evidence-based approaches.
