East Midlands Strategic Commercial Unit (EMSCU) has undertaken a compliant EU tender exercise under the open procedure of the public contract Regulations (2015) to establish a national framework agreement for the provision of information solution services (Financial and personal data services) for a period of 4 years from 1.11.2017. This Framework agreement has been made available to other police authorities established under section 3 of the Police Act 1996 In addition, a police Participant established under section 2 of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967; the Northern Ireland Policing Board; the National Policing Improvement Agency; and all non-geographic police forces and law enforcement agencies shown at http://www.police.uk/forces. It will also be available for use by UK Emergency Services including UK Ambulance Trusts https://aace.org.uk/uk-ambulance-service/ and UK Fire and Rescue Services http://www.cfoa.org.uk/12072 (referred to as OCBs). This VEAT notice is intended to provide clarification for the Contract Notice (TED Reference: 2017/S 135-277086) and Award Notice (TED Reference: 2017/S 239-496556) Framework for the provision of Information Solution Services. The VEAT has been published to expand the Scope to include use by National Crime Agency (NCA).
