Distribution Gate Valves Framework Agreement

Tender description

A Single Supplier Framework Agreement for the manufacturing and/or supply of Gate Valves for Gas Networks Ireland. Applicant shall note that if they are appointed to the Framework Agreement, they will be required to supply either directly to the Gas Networks Ireland or at the Contracting Entity's sole discretion, to the Contracting Entity’s Agents or other authorised contractors on the same terms to the terms of the Framework Agreement. All Applicants to note; in order to pre-qualify they must be able to demonstrate that they can fulfil the requirements for Gas Networks Ireland for the specific lot/lots being applied for. The Framework duration will be based on an initial Contract term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years thereafter (1 year plus 1 year option). It is envisaged that the scope of products and services of the initial Contract to be drawn-down under the Framework Agreement will be, but are not limited to; Gate Valves for gas and will cover the following: The proposed supply requirements are to be divided into four (4) separate lots as detailed below: Lot 1 – GNI Flanged Cast Iron Gate Valves Lot 2 – GNI Flanged Steel Gate Valves Lot 3 – GNI PE-tailed Cast Iron Gate Valves Lot 4 – GNI Lugged Knife Gate Valves Applicants can apply for more than one lot. Applicants must clearly identify which lot/lots they are applying for (Section 4).
