Tender description

To provide a fully integrated sexual and reproductive health service across Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole, which ensures cost effectiveness, high quality provision for contraception, prevention, diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted infections; defined as Level 1-3 of care. An integrated service will ensure patients receive the right intervention, by the most appropriate health care professional at the right place and time. Including a single telephone open access provision, effective triage for patients, improved online services with an effective targeted outreach service, which will meet the needs of specific population groups. The Council is intending to award this contract following the Negotiated Procedure without Prior Publication. This is due to there being an absence of competition for the requirements. The contract will be for a maximum period of 23 months up to 31.3.2020. The integrated sexual and reproductive health service across Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole will be managed by the provider to be a fully integrated service across all of their partners and supply chain and deliver a seamless approach for service users.
