Tender description

As a part of a planned sourcing activity for the replacement of large autoclaves, Public Health England (PHE) is organising a Supplier Day on the 4.5.2018 in Cambridge. PHE is seeking to replace 4 large autoclaves, which are used to make infectious waste including hazard group three pathogens safe. The PHE's National Infections laboratory at Cambridge serves a number of hospitals and generates significant amounts of waste as a result. The Supplier Day is organised to provide PHE with the technical proposals, which will inform the specifications for replacement of autoclaves and associated plant to ensure sufficient capacity to deal with this workload efficiently. Public Health England are tenants of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH) on the Addenbrooke’s site, delivery of this project will be in partnership with CUH.
