IR35 Doesn’t apply. 13. Is the project likely to be extended ? If so, do you have any idea for possibly how long? This contract is primarily to cover work needed between now and the end of the financial year. It is likely further work will be needed next year that will be done as a separate project/contract. 14. Can any of the work be done remotely? If so, how much? Pretty much all of it, but it might be necessary to visit Leeds or Birmingham for meetings and attend telephone meetings and video chats etc. 15. How many years experience of the essential skills is required? At least 1 year. 16. We have experience in using Global Content Blocks, but it is no longer supported by the original developer. If possible, we would normally recommend an alternative solution. Is this feasible, or would you prefer to continue with Global Content Blocks? At the moment, due to tight deadlines, we need to work with the Global Content Blocks and existing theme and structure already in place. IT would take too long to unpick everything, but there might be scope to change this in the future. 17. Can you confirm if this is an ‘on-site’ role or could the work be undertaken remotely with ad-hoc days on-site when relevant. Yes, this is mostly a remote role with perhaps the occasional day on-site as required for meetings etc. 18. You have answered that the contract is a minimum of 20 days. What is the maximum contract length or length of any extension? It will depend on the day rate charged by the supplier but there is the potential within the budget for up to 40-50 days to cover our basic requirements and any further agreed improvements and changes.
