TfL Vendor Inspection Services of Railway Wagons from the People's Republic of China

Transport for London (TfL) are seeking a supplier to carry out third party vendor inspection for wagons being manufactured on behalf of TfL in the People’s Republic of China (P.R.C.). We are in contract with a third party supplier, manufacturing in the P.R.C. for 71 high capacity wagons for carrying spoil, ballast, track panels and other bulk materials for which this requirement would form part of our assurance process. Requirements identified include but are not limited to: audits of supplier and sub-contractors; review of procurement activity for key and high risk components and materials undertaken within the supply chain; inspection of manufacturing process; auditing documentation and conformance to standards; supervising delivery.
