WIT Diverse Campus Service Limited is a subsidiary company of Waterford Institute of Technology (hereinafter called WIT Campus Services). It manages a number of services and facilities for the staff and student population of WIT. Such services and facilities include Catering & Retail, Sports & Social Club, WIT Arena, Sports Facilities, Student Accommodation, and the WIT Bubble etc. WIT Campus Services is currently seeking to select a Company to provide Cleaning Services for the WIT Arena in Carriganore, the West Campus of Waterford Institute of Technology as per the requirements set out in this tender document. WIT Arena: The WIT Arena is operated by WIT Campus Services, it’s a fifty acre site located on the Waterford outer ring road close to the N25 City bypass, first exit after the toll plaza heading west. It comprises of both grass and synthetic pitches, four of which are flood lit. It has ten dressing rooms, physiotherapy rooms, first-aid room, reception area, sports hall/event centre, gym, fitness studios, assessment rooms and class rooms. There will also be a need to have flexibility in the contract as the WIT Arena will have occasional events which will require extra cleaning hours on weekends and evenings. These events would be outside the normal weekly schedule of cleaning.
