Tender description

This Prior Information Notice relates to the forthcoming procurement of existing supported living services which may include outreach services. This Notice is not a call for competition at this stage and a separate contract notice will be published to commence the procurement at a later date. This Notice aims to raise awareness of a provider engagement event to be held on the 24.4.2018 at 2:00 pm, Conwy Business Centre, Junction Way, Llandudno Junction LL31 9XX. There is no requirement to pre-book places for the event. The aim of the event is to outline the Council's commissioning intentions and aims to engage with Service Providers prior to the commencement of the procurement. The session will provide an overview of the services, the vision going forward and procurement approach. The event aims to obtain feedback from Service Providers and information gathered at the event will help shape the future process and associated specifications. The procurement relates to the provision of flexible, outcome focused supported living services for adults with learning or physical disabilities living in their own home or within a shared supported living scheme in Conwy, however the scope may be wider. The procurement will offer a contract within a specific geographical area with aim to promote innovation, flexibility and efficient service delivery. It is anticipated that the procurement for Area 1 will commence within the financial year 2018/19. The Council reserves the right to divide the contract into lots for the purposes of the tender and reserves the right to re-define the lot description or to withdraw any lots at any time before the tender publication or throughout the tender.
