Tender description

The University of Bedfordshire is seeking to appoint an operator to provide security services, for its Luton, Bedford and other campuses as required. The service requirements include (but are not limited to) guarding, patrolling, access control, monitoring and responding, incident management, first aid, investigations, reporting, risk and threat analysis, premises and site control. The service should ensure the safety of the student and staff population, while ensuring the prevention of unauthorised access to the University premises and adequate protection of all persons and equipment on the premises. Significant investment would be a key feature of this partnership and is reflected in the length of the contract (10 years) with break options in years 3 and 6. Security Services.
