Tender description

The procurement relates to the provision of food waste treatment services on behalf of the Heads of the Valleys (HOV) Waste Procurement Partnership comprising the following participating local Authorities: Blaenau Gwent CBC, Monmouthshire CC and Torfaen CBC (the Hub). This procurement relates to the provision of food waste treatment services on behalf of the Heads of the Valleys (HOV) Waste Procurement Partnership comprising the following participating local Authorities: Blaenau Gwent CBC, Monmouthshire CC and Torfaen. CBC (the Hub). In line with Welsh Government policy, the Hub wishes to procure long term source segregated food waste treatment services, utilising anaerobic digestion, for the geographical areas covered by each of the participating Local Authorities. Contracted services will commence April 2018 for an initial period of 15 years (with an option to extend for a further period of up to 5 years).
