Out of Area Widening Participation Project: Presentation Service

Tender description

The University of Gloucestershire are seeking an individual or an organisation to work on behalf of the university's Outreach & WP team. The team have both external and internal targets relating to working with and the recruitment of under-represented groups, and in particular Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) students. The post holder will be required to build-up relationships with key colleges and some schools (with post-16 provision) within a region outside of Gloucestershire within a 70-mile radius of Cheltenham, for example the West Midlands or Bristol. Sessions will need to be informative but engaging with a high level of quality. The purpose of the sessions is to engage learners in information relating to higher education (HE), therefore knowledge and understanding of HE opportunities, the application process and available support will be required.
