Summary of the work In conjunction with in-house specialists, to manage and deploy endpoint and cloud-based infrastructure to support transformational change in care provision Expected Contract Length 16 May 2018 – 31 December 2018 (review at mid point) Latest start date Wednesday 16 May 2018 Budget Range £100K-£130K based on an individual or small team Why the Work is Being Done To manage and deploy endpoint and cloud based infrastructure to enable new care models delivery Problem to Be Solved Reshaping of holistic health and care services requires implemnetation of flexible and dynamic endpoint infrastructure Who Are the Users As a practitioner in a wider care team enviroinment I need to access the right care information and managment tools at multiple locations. Work Already Done Care groups have been forming for some time and this requirement supports our continuing response to these new requirements, through replication of successful solutions and development of new ones. Existing Team The supplier's work will be managed under the core PMO service and teh team will work alongside exisiting programme and project managers. Current Phase Beta Skills & Experience • how how they are able to on board current resource or equivalent skill set (below) to meet delivey timescale • Show that they are able to offer seamless transition of ongoing work to the a managed service • Have experience of implementing Healthcare Gateway,, Black Pear, Emis ENterprise products, cloud based infrastructure and zero footprint end user devices • have knowledge and experience of the digital enablement of integrated working practice and ambitions in primary care in London healthcare communities Nice to Haves • Knowledge and experience of working with NEL core teams • have practical experience and knowledge of the London primary care drivers and blockers Work Location Base in North Central London, requirement to visit work at customer sites across London and the Southeast of England Working Arrangments The supplier will be provided office accommodation at an office in North or North East London but work at customer sites will be required across London and the South East No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 3 Proposal Criteria • Compliance with essential skills and experience • Ability to mobilise on 16 May 2018 or very soon thereafter Cultural Fit Criteria • Work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers • Work with clients with low technical expertise • Build and maintain relationships with senior professionals • Support and work according to NEL vision and Values Payment Approach Capped time and materials Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 20% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers 1. Can you share the cloud providers you currently use and intend to use, as this is important with regards to skillset. We are in discussion with providers currently and are not in a position to define them at this point. At this stage, practical experience of cloud-hosted envirnments in use in the health sector would be suitable 2. Can the authority please confirm the IR35 status of this requirement The CSU is seeking bids for a service to provide an outcome and would expect bidders to provide the service in compliance with all legal and fiscal requirements.
