technical support to assist Local Authorities (LAs) with the development Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs). LCWIPs detail the infrastructure needed at the local level to increase cycling and walking in support of the objectives set out in the government's Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy (CWIS), a duty placed on the Secretary of State in the Infrastructure Act 2015.
