Heating-plant repair and maintenance work

Tender description

Norfolk County Council wish to appoint a single supplier for the servicing of heating and hot water plant at schools, libraries, museums, fire stations and corporate offices, covering the whole of Norfolk. The initial contract term is expected to be 5 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years. The work required is to carry out routine service visits to a scheduled list of sites for heating and hot water plant, reporting results to the Council’s agent. The contract will include emergency call out visits and remedial works up to an a specified value. Contractors interested in tendering for this contract should be aware that many of the sites contain asbestos where evidence of operatives up to date asbestos awareness training is required and other sites, namely schools, will require operatives to provide evidence of suitable DBS checks.
