Tender description

Tower Hamlets CCG are to contract with Tower Hamlets GP Care Group for the provision of extended hours primary care provision within Tower Hamlets. A procurement process has not been followed as these services are an extension of core-list base services that are delivered by the GP practices in Tower Hamlets. Tower Hamlets GP Care Group, is a GP federation whose members comprise all 37 GP practices in Tower Hamlets. The annual value of the contract is 920 000 GBP per annum. VAT inclusive The contract will be for a year with a possibility of one 1 year extension. The service will be based out of GP practices in Tower Hamlets and be delivered as a seamless extension to current GP services. Tower Hamlets GP Care Group, is a GP federation whose members comprise all 37 GP practices in Tower Hamlets. Extended hours provision of core primary medical services including GP, nurse and HCA appointments. The service also includes the coordination and delivery of online consultation services across Tower Hamlets. Primary care access will be delivered through locality-based hubs, offering routine and urgent appointments, with a range of primary care professionals, from 6:30 – 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8:00 am – 8:00 pm on weekends, including bank holidays, with the expectation that the service is available 365 days a year.
