Hard X-Ray Diffractometer

Tender description

We require a new High performance X-ray Diffractometer using hard (Ag and Mo) radiation for our advanced characterisation facility. This diffractometer must be capable of rapid data collection from the wide diversity of materials studied by TUoS researchers - both small bulk pieces (pellets, off-cuts etc.) and powdered specimens of ceramics, cements and refractories, metals and glasses. We then require the ability to perform a range of additional specialised techniques on powdered specimens: PDF analyses, and in situ / operando experiments using high pressure, low temperature or electrochemical coin and/or pouch cells during charge/discharge.
