Tender description

The Authority is seeking Contractor(s) for the provision of Fitness and Sports Equipment including Cardiovascular; Cycling; Resistance; Free Weights; Fitness Accessories and Sports Equipment to the higher education (HE) institutions and further education (FE) institutions, of Scotland, the NHS National Procurement in Scotland (and their members and affiliated bodies), Scotland Excel (and their members and affiliated bodies), and Scottish Government bodies including: — Police Scotland, — Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. Parties eligible to use the Framework Agreement are as listed on Appendix E — List of Institutions. Cardiovascular: Users of this Framework may have a requirement for Cardiovascular including but not limited to: — treadmills, — cross / elliptical trainers, — rowers, — stair climbers, — upper body ergometer, — vibration plate. Cycling: Users of this Framework may have a requirement for Cycling including but not limited to: — upright cycles, — recumbent cycles, — studio cycles, — spin bike, — indoor cycles, — air bikes, — smart trainer. Resistance Equipment / Fixed Weight: Users of this Framework may have a requirement for Resistance / Fixed Weight including but not limited to: — assisted chin and dip, — lateral pull down, — seated row, — back extensions, — chest press, — multi press, — leg curl, — leg press, — leg extension, — cable cross, — abdominal weight machine. Free Weights: Users of this Framework may have a requirement for Free Weights including but not limited to: — full power rack, — half rack, — squat rack, — flat bench, — training bars, — dumbells and rack, — barbell set and rack, — training discs. Fitness Accessories: Users of this Framework may have a requirement for Fitness Equipment including but not limited to: — specialist Mats E.g. Yoga; Gym, — fitness steps, — balance balls (various sizes), — trampolines, — resistance bands, — jump / skipping ropes, — fitness hoops, — jump boxes, — kettle bells and rack, — health screening and fitness testing equipment. Sports Equipment: Users of this Framework may have a requirement for Sports Equipment including but not limited to: — vaulting equipment, — trampolines, — balance beams, — specialist mats, — springboards, — nets for various sports, — balls for various sports, — bats / Sticks for various sports, — goal posts for various sports, — gym based climbing wall with climbing ropes.
