Tender description

Manchester Airports Group (MAG) is planning to run a competitive tender process for the supply of Anti Icer and De Icer products across all of the airports groups: — Manchester Airport, — Stansted Airport, — East Midlands Airport. The products procured will be used air-side at each airport for runways, taxiways, walkways and aircraft stands. The overall objective is to appoint one supplier to supply MAG with the required products under a contract with an anticipated term of 3 years with the option of a 2 years extension. The supply of Anti Icer and De Icer products to MAG is of a critical nature to the operation of the Airports. It is therefore crucial for MAG to appoint a supplier who can fulfil the need to the required standards. — runway and taxiway liquid anti-icing agent (adhering to SAE AMS1435), — runway and taxiway solid anti-icing agent (adhering to SAE AMS1431). The products procured will be used air side on the runways, taxi ways, walk ways and aircraft stands during the winter months. The amount of product(s) sourced will depend entirely on the weather conditions each year. The aim is to appoint a supplier under a contract with an anticipated term of 3 years with an extension option of a further 2 years. There will be service level agreements included in the contract which will be monitored on a regular basis to ensure delivery timescales are met. Further information is contained within the PQQ.
